About Shellie
Shellie Smith, CPA has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1998. She is dedicated to help clients make intelligent financial decisions and ethically minimize tax liability.
A Lubbock native, Shellie attended Lubbock Christian Schools from K – 12 and graduated from Lubbock Christian University in May 1990 with a B.S. in Accounting and from Texas Tech University in May 1992 with a MBA with an emphasis in Accounting. Shellie worked for a public accounting firm part-time during her college years while playing basketball at LCU. After graduating from Texas Tech, Shellie worked at First National Bank (now Wells Fargo) for two years as the accountant in the trust department. In 1994, Shellie went back into public accounting and worked at a local firm for almost thirteen years. In 2007, Shellie worked as the in-house CPA for an oil and gas equipment manufacturing business in Levelland. In 2010, Shellie started her own firm.
Shellie is a member of the Texas Society of CPA's.
In her spare time, Shellie enjoys spending time with her children Sydnie and Spencer.
